The programme is music of the 20s to 60s to listen and dance to. The "Alte Schule Tanzorchester" is an orchestra devoted to the dance music of the 20s to 60s. Band member Korbinian Geirhos bought a loft find of dance sheet music over the internet some years ago; it turned out to be a rich collection of about 700 pieces from German publishers from the first half of the 20th century.

A spontaneous rehearsal day was meant to play through a batch of the old notes to hear what they were worth. The result was an enthusiastic band, put together for that purpose, that wanted more. That is how the project "Alte Schule Tanzorchester" came about, for which the Bobingen residents Andrea Gerblinger and Korbinian Geirhos had got friends and family members on board.

In a variable dance orchestra line-up, evergreens of the 20s, 30s to 60s sound with an invitation to dance. A small dance floor is available for all concert-goers who love dancing.
