The Rolling Stones Story - Rock ’n’ Roll for ever

This event recreates the spirit of the legendary 1968 Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus, a concert film that captured a unique moment in rock history. Attendees can expect a tribute to the original show, which featured performances by the Rolling Stones, the Who, Taj Mahal, Marianne Faithfull, Jethro Tull, and the supergroup Dirty Mac with John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Mitch Mitchell, and Keith Richards. The atmosphere aims to evoke the makeshift circus stage and the raw energy of that era.

The original film was conceived by Mick Jagger to promote the album *Beggars Banquet* and was directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg. It was shot over two days in December 1968 at a British sound stage, with performances running into the early morning. Despite the exhaustion of the band and audience, the event produced iconic moments, including Brian Jones's final public performance with the Rolling Stones and the debut of Nicky Hopkins playing live with the group.
