Hannah Lühmann reads at Stadtbibliothek Buxtehude on 28 November 2026 at 19:00 as part of the Literaturwochen "Heimaten". Tickets from 12.00 EUR.
Hannah Lühmann appears at Stadtbibliothek Buxtehude, Fischerstraße 2, 21614 Buxtehude, on Saturday 28 November 2026 at 19:00. The event is part of the Literaturwochen "Heimaten". Tickets start at 12,00 €.
The organiser is the Hansestadt Buxtehude, Breite Str. 2, 21614 Buxtehude, Deutschland. The reading centres on Jana, who moves with her family to the countryside hoping for a quieter life, and on her neighbour Karolin, who on Instagram presents a seemingly flawless family life and who, as a "Tradwife", promotes a worldview.
Hannah Lühmann was born in 1987 and worked from 2014 to 2025 as a senior editor in the culture section of "Welt" and "Welt am Sonntag"; she also wrote for "Süddeutsche Zeitung", "FAZ" and "Die Zeit", studied philosophy in Berlin and Paris, and after her debut "Auszeit" (2021), "Heimat" is her second novel. She now works freelance and lives with her family in Berlin.
The Literaturwochen "HEIMATEN" are organised by the Heimat- und Geschichtsverein Buxtehude and the Stadtbibliothek, who want to take a constructive part in the current discussion about Heimat. With the plural "Heimaten" the organisers want to emphasise what connects people and to point out that many citizens of today's society have several Heimaten.
