Wer könnte das sein? - Abendwerkstatt mit Pierre Jarawan

Wer könnte das sein? - Abendwerkstatt mit Pierre Jarawan takes place on Monday 09.11.2026 at 19:00 at Literaturhaus München - Bibliothek, Salvatorplatz 1, 80333 München. The evening workshop explores what makes a character believable, how relationships, conflicts and dynamics arise, and how figures shape the atmosphere of a narrative, the world they move in, and the course of the plot.

It looks at how literary characters come into being and what they need in order to move readers. The workshop works with texts, shared conversations and writing exercises. Pierre Jarawan was born in 1985 in Amman, Jordan.

His novels »Am Ende bleiben die Zedern«, »Ein Lied für die Vermissten« and most recently »Frau im Mond« (all titles Berlin Verlag) were all bestsellers and have been translated into many languages. In 2025 he received the Tukan-Preis der Stadt München. The workshop runs from 19 to 22 each evening.

The fee is EURO 40.- / 25.- per evening. The group size is 20 Personen.

Remaining tickets may be available at the evening box office. The organiser is Stiftung Literaturhaus.
