Weseler Domkonzert - Benefizkonzert Rotary Orchester Deutschland

The Weseler Domkonzert - Benefizkonzert Rotary Orchester Deutschland takes place on Saturday 19.06.2027 from 18:30 to 20:30 at the Willibrordi-Dom, Großer Markt, 46483 Wesel. Tickets start at 34,00 €. The organiser is Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Wesel | WESELER DOMMUSIK, Willibrordiplatz 10, 46485 Wesel, Deutschland.

A single admission price applies to this concert; no reduction is planned. People who cannot afford tickets because they receive Grundsicherung or are in a comparable situation can write to [email protected]; the ticket can then be collected for 5 Euro at the evening box office. Under the direction of professional conductors, around seventy experienced amateur musicians of the Rotary Orchester Deutschland meet three times a year to work on new concert programmes.

The musicians cover the costs of their meetings themselves, so the donations go entirely to Rotary projects. The evening's programme features Anton Bruckners 4. Symphonie Es-Dur, WAB 104 · „Die Romantische“.

With this work, Bruckners rise as a composer began in 1881. The proceeds of the concert benefit Friedensdorf International. The organisation has helped injured and sick children from war and crisis zones since 1967, enables medical treatments in Europe and at the same time supports projects to improve medical care in the countries of origin.

This is joined by the peace education work FRIEDENSDORF INTERNATIONAL – Hilfe für Kinder aus Kriegs- & Krisengebieten. Further information: http://benefizkonzert-wesel.de. The venue is Willibrordi Dom zu Wesel, Großer Markt, 46483 Wesel.
