European Mobility Week Family Activities

Barcelona joins the European Mobility Week with a packed programme of family-friendly activities across all city districts. The week highlights how the city moves, with over 80% of journeys already made by sustainable modes like public transport, walking, or cycling. Visitors can join talks, presentations, promotional activities, and workshops organised by local entities and facilities, all focused on sustainable and safe mobility.

A highlight is the open-door days at transport facilities, where the public can explore spaces normally closed to visitors. Guided tours include the TRAM depots, RENFE's Rodalies management centre, the Bicing operations centre, the Guàrdia Urbana stables, and unique spots like the Cuca de Llum at Tibidabo or the Glòries park. These free activities offer demonstrations and immersive experiences, giving families a behind-the-scenes look at what keeps Barcelona moving.
