During the European Mobility Week, Barcelona invites residents and visitors to explore the natural side of the city through a series of open-door events at transport facilities. These free activities offer a behind-the-scenes look at spaces that are usually closed to the public, such as the TRAM depots, the RENFE commuter rail management centre, the Bicing operations centre, and the Urban Guard stables. Visitors can also discover unique spots like the Cuca de Llum at Tibidabo and the Glòries park.

The programme includes guided tours, demonstrations, and immersive experiences that showcase how the city's sustainable mobility systems work. With over 80% of trips in Barcelona made by public transport, on foot, or by bike, the week aims to raise awareness about the benefits of a friendlier, less polluted city. Attendees can expect a mix of talks, presentations, workshops, and promotional activities organised by local entities and facilities, all focused on promoting sustainable and safe mobility.
