Lille is a Flemish-flavoured city in northern France, its Grand Place and Vieux Lille lined with Flemish-Baroque facades from centuries under Burgundian and Spanish rule before it became French. Its Eurostar and TGV station puts London, Brussels and Paris all within roughly ninety minutes.
