This program brings together two iconic works from the American avant-garde, celebrating the centenary of Robert Rauschenberg. Trisha Brown's *Set & Reset* (1983) features a fluid, continuous movement style, with costumes and set by Rauschenberg and music by Laurie Anderson. Merce Cunningham's *Travelogue* (1977) is a surreal vaudeville-like piece with absurd props and a fragmented soundscape by John Cage.

Presented by the Trisha Brown Dance Company at La Villette, the evening offers a glimpse into a laboratory of dance, visual arts, and music. The two pieces showcase the radical creativity of their era, with dancers moving through invisible structures and playful scenarios. It's a chance to experience postmodern dance at its most inventive and joyful.
