La Grande Journée Halloween: Monster Bowling Workshop

This Halloween, the Bibliothèque Maurice Genevoix in Paris invites children aged 6 and up to a creative workshop where imagination meets recycling. Kids will transform simple tin cans into colorful monsters, playful ghosts, or wacky creatures using paint, collage, and their own inventiveness. The activity blends artistic creation with a fun bowling game: once the monsters are finished, they become part of a family-friendly chamboule-tout (knock-down game) to test everyone's aim.

The workshop is designed to develop motor skills, creativity, and resourcefulness, showing how an object destined for recycling can become both an artwork and a game. It's a playful way to celebrate Halloween while learning about upcycling. The event is free but requires advance reservation by email, phone, or in person at the library.
