Boy in Space is Robin Lundbäck, a Swedish singer-songwriter from Alingsås, formerly of the boy band JTR.
He has said his moniker refers to his personality, which he has described as "spacey". Before going solo, Lundbäck was a member of the Swedish boy band JTR, which took part in the fifth season of The X Factor Australia and released two studio albums. His first single as a solo artist, "Goodbye", came out in 2018, followed that year by "Give Me" and "California".
In 2019 he released "7UP", "Drown" and "Cold"; "Cold" has drawn close to 90 million streams on Spotify. He later made a remix of "7UP" with Tiger Tom (Tom Lundbäck), his brother, who was also in JTR. A music video for the Boy In Space song "Caroline" was described by Billboard magazine as "Alice in Wonderland-Inspired", and "u n eye" has been described as a "R&B-infused pop track".
In 2021 he released "Paradise" with the Norwegian DJ Alan Walker and music producer K-391. His releases include the studio album The Man Who Lost it All (2026) and the extended plays Live (2020), Frontyard (2021), Backyard (2022), Copium (2024) and The Butterfly Affect (2025).
