Fionn Regan, the Irish folk musician and singer-songwriter, performs at EartH (Theatre) in London, where a £1 restoration levy applies per ticket.
Fionn Regan is an Irish folk musician and singer-songwriter, born in 1981 and raised in Bray. His debut studio album, The End of History, was released in 2006, after six years of extended plays on independent record labels. Later albums include The Shadow of an Empire in 2010, 100 Acres of Sycamore in 2011 and The Bunkhouse Vol. 1: Anchor Black Tattoo in 2012.
He has been nominated for the Choice Music Prize in Ireland, the Mercury Prize in the United Kingdom and the Shortlist Music Prize in the United States, and has cited Bob Dylan and Neil Young as influences. Lucinda Williams has referred to him as "his generation's answer to Bob Dylan". He has toured worldwide and played festivals including the Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic in Ireland, Bestival on the Isle of Wight and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass in San Francisco.
In April 2017 he released his fifth studio album, The Meetings of the Waters, via independent label Abbey Records under his imprint 'Tsuneni Ai'. A £1 restoration levy per ticket is now being implemented at EartH, intended to raise funds for ongoing works in the building, with the majority spent on music education projects for community use, artist studios, maintenance and improved access facilities for each space.
