Fisherman's Friends at Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham

Fisherman's Friends play Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham on 4 November 2027 at 19:00. Tickets start at GBP 34.65. The group is a folk music act from Port Isaac, Cornwall, who sing sea shanties.

They have performed locally since 1995 and signed a record deal with Universal Music Group in March 2010. Although essentially an a cappella group, their live shows now often include traditional simple instrumentation.

Their performances combine traditional songs of the sea with contemporary folk music and a large dash of humour. The band is semi-professional and does not tour extensively, usually embarking on short tours in November and February/March.
