GANS play Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on 1 April 2027 at 19:00. GANS are a two-piece from the West Midlands, UK, made up of Thomas Rhodes (bass/guitar/synths/vocals) and Euan Woodman (drums/vocals/synths). They met at college, and rehearsals and intensive song writing began in late 2023.
Their influences range from big band jazz to country to techno to punk. Five self-released singles came out on their own HOT DAWG RECORDS from November 2023 to November 2024. Strap Originals decided to sign the band after seeing them at a DiY show they put on in a 2nd hand vintage clothes store in Birmingham.
Their debut album 'GOOD FOR THE SOUL' was released in September 2025, produced by Ross Orton in Sheffield, UK. The album produced 4 singles, all playlisted on BBC 6 Music.
The band played over 150 live shows in 2025 and have over 120 shows planned for 2026. Tickets start from GBP 20.16.
