Jon Gomm at The Louisiana, Bristol, 19 March 2027

Jon Gomm plays The Louisiana in Bristol on 19 March 2027 at 20:00. Tickets start from GBP 25.25. Gomm is an English singer-songwriter and performer who uses percussive techniques on acoustic guitar.

He hits the surface of the guitar to produce snare drum, bass drum and bongo sounds, re-tunes the strings for bass sounds, and uses high harmonics for synthesizer-like effects. His influences include blues, soul, rock and metal, and the musician Michael Hedges. He has recorded three solo albums.

His song "Passionflower" became the subject of a tweet from Stephen Fry in February 2012. Gomm usually works with independent promoters and plays venues such as ale pubs in rural areas, theatres and arts centres. He has toured in China, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, Australia and Canada.
