Lawrence Dodd: This Can't Be It at Hyde Park Book Club, Leeds

Lawrence Dodd: This Can't Be It is a show at Hyde Park Book Club in Leeds on 2 November 2026 at 19:30. Tickets start from GBP 8.80. The show is by Loz Dodd and is part performance art, part contemporary clowning.

It is semi-improvised. In it, Loz sets out to make sense of everything and finds he knows nothing. As things fall apart, he looks for meaning in what is left: himself, in a room, with others.

The show explores how people stay open to mystery and to each other amid uncertainty and collapse. It is billed as different every time. Reviews Hub described Loz Dodd's earlier work as "Bone-deep funny" (Brighton Fringe).
