AGMP Concerts present NINE BELOW ZERO featuring Ben Waters '59 Below Zero' Tour Dennis Greaves and Mark Feltham are the founding members of Nine Below Zero. They started making music and playing live together in South East London back in 1977. Celebrating 50 years of creating and playing some of the finest UK Rhythm 'n' Blues, Nine Below Zero are embarking on a bespoke European Tour in 2027, with very special guests joining them on stage, including legendary The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton, fast-rising Zac Schulze, incredible blues pianist Ben Waters, guitarist Robbie McIntosh and Rhythm 'n' Blues legends Dr. Feelgood.
Nine Below Zero released their classic debut LP Live at the Marquee in 1980, kept the momentum going with Don't Point Your Finger in 1981 before releasing their third LP on A&M Records, Third Degree (1982). The front cover image for 'Third Degree' was shot by legendary photographer, David Bailey. Since 1988 they have released a further 20 LP's in an incredible career.
Mark Feltham has also been selected as harmonica-player by a whole host of acts including Oasis, Annie Lennox, Talk Talk and Rory Gallagher. Dennis Greaves formed the mod group The Truth who found chart and live success throughout the 1980's. Nine Below Zero toured with The Who and The Kinks in the early 80's and also appeared onThe Old Grey Whistle Test, The South Bank Show and perhaps most memorably, a cameo performance on the first ever episode of cult comedy The Young Ones performing 'Eleven + Eleven'.
Tonight's special guest is leading boogie-woogie and blues pianist Ben Waters. Ben formed The ABC&D of Boogie Woogie along with The Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts, Axel Zwingenberger and Dave Green. He has also performed and recorded with Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Davies, Jools Holland, Shakin' Stevens, and The Rolling Stones.
They became popular during the period 1980–1982. As of 2026, Nine Below Zero continue to perform live, with scheduled concerts in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Greece and Denmark.
