The Dualers: Ska and Reggae from South East London

The Dualers are a ska and reggae band from South East London. The group is an eight-piece or nine-piece outfit. It began with brothers Si and Tyber Cranstoun, and Tyber has led the band since Si left in 2010 to pursue a solo career.

Their single "Kiss on the Lips" reached number 21 in October 2004 without industry backing. The band has opened for Madness at large outdoor concerts and has headlined at Indigo O2, Fairfield Halls in Croydon and the Churchill Theatre in Bromley. The Dualers began in 1999 as a busking duo performing doo-wop, pop and ska in Bromley, Canterbury, Croydon, Kingston and Romford.

In 2005 they signed to Guy Holmes' Gut Records and had another chart hit with "Truly Madly Deeply". In 2010 the group grew into a nine-piece ska band.

Their album Palm Trees And 80 Degrees sold 4,229 copies and reached number 11 in 2019. Voices from the Sun followed in 2022, debuting at number 26 with weekly sales of 2,789.
