THE EARLY YEARS AND SENNEN at The Social, London

THE EARLY YEARS AND SENNEN play The Social in London on 18 November 2026, 19:00, as part of a UK tour in November. These are the first live dates the two bands have played together since 2007. Both are now labelmates on the indie imprint Sonic Cathedral, and both grew out of the UK shoegaze adjacent scene of the early 2000s.

The Early Years were more influenced by krautrock and drone, while Sennen combined post-rock and harmonies. Tickets start from GBP 13.50. The Early Years formed in East London in 2005 and have released three albums: a self-titled debut in 2006 for Beggars Banquet, II in 2016, and Modern Moonlight, released at the end of May this year.

Their shows on this tour will be their first for over eight years. Sennen formed in Norwich in 2002 and released their debut album Widows in 2005. They went on to release four more albums, the most recent being First Light in 2016.

Apart from three dates in 2021 to promote a reissue of Widows, their first release for Sonic Cathedral, they have not toured since. Sennen are also preparing to share their first new material in over a decade.
