The collective blends folk with ambient and indie textures. Female vocals are layered over acoustic instrumentation and subtle electronics, with guitar lines beneath synths. Colm Mac Con Iomaire of The Frames and Swell Season contributes string arrangements. The group was formed by musicians from Wexford and Leeds, and its music draws on modern indie and dream-folk, with a melodic core and an organic sensibility.
