The Parachute Testers are a collective formed by musicians from Wexford and Leeds. The album blends folk with ambient and indie textures. The band's sound features female vocals over acoustic instrumentation and electronics, with guitar lines and synths, and string arrangements by Colm Mac Con Iomaire of The Frames and Swell Season. Their music draws on modern indie and dream-folk, with a melodic core.
