Eagles of Death Metal at Leeds Beckett Students' Union

Eagles of Death Metal play Leeds Beckett Students' Union in Leeds on 21 November 2026, 19:00. The band is an American rock group from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998. Jesse Hughes (vocals, guitar) and Josh Homme (drums) founded it, and they are its only permanent members.

Homme rarely performs at live shows because of his commitment to Queens of the Stone Age. The touring lineup has Hughes alongside Leah Bluestein (drums), Scott Shiflett (guitar), Dustin Douglas (bass) and Rex Roulette (guitar).

Despite the name, the band is not a death metal band, and the name is meant to be humorous. The band released its debut album, Peace, Love, Death Metal, in March 2004.
