The Bootleg Beatles at The Brighton Centre, 19 December 2026

The band has performed over 4,000 times since it was established in March 1980. It was formed by Andre Barreau, Neil Harrison and David Catlin-Birch, who had been London cast members of Beatlemania, after the final show of the West End musical. Their first performance was at a small student gathering in Tiverton, Devon, England.

In 1990 they booked 10 shows in cities where the Beatles had played on their final UK tour in 1965. In 2010 they made their first headline appearance on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
