The Bootleg Beatles at Bristol Beacon, 20 December 2026

The Bootleg Beatles, a Beatles tribute band, play Bristol Beacon in Bristol on 20 December 2026, 19:30. The band has performed over 4,000 times since it was established in March 1980. It was formed by Andre Barreau, Neil Harrison and David Catlin-Birch, who had been London cast members of Beatlemania.

Their first performance was at a small student gathering in Tiverton, Devon, England. In 1990 they booked 10 shows in cities where the Beatles had played on their final UK tour in 1965.

A gig in Southampton caught the attention of Oasis, and the Bootleg Beatles went on to support Oasis at Earls Court and Knebworth. In 2002 the band played at Elizabeth II's Golden Jubilee Party at Buckingham Palace, and in 2010 they made their first headline appearance on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
