A Winter Lunchtime at the Opera is an operatic gala at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on 27 November 2026. It starts at 13:05 in the John Field Room, and the event is sold out. The programme brings opera to a lunchtime audience with arias, duets and ensembles from La Traviata, La Bohème, Carmen, Don Giovanni, Gianni Schicchi, L'Elisir d'Amore, The Tales of Hoffman, Così Fan Tutte and The Merry Widow.
Sandra Oman (soprano) and Simon Morgan (baritone) appear with David Wray on piano, alongside TU Dublin Conservatoire students Leah Walsh (mezzo soprano) and James Connolly (baritone). The event is presented by Sheldon Nulty Music.
Sandra Oman is a Dublin-born soprano who received the Margaret Burke Sheridan Memorial Award in 2004 and was awarded a PhD by TU Dublin Conservatoire in 2025. Tickets cost €22, with €20 for concessions, children aged 17 and under, Friends of the NCH and groups of 10 or more.
