Romantic Dublin with a nod to St Valentine! is a walking tour starting at Fusiliers' Arch in Dublin on 14 February 2027. The tour lasts 2 hours 15 minutes.
It winds through the more hidden parts of the city and covers love stories from Irish mythology and from Dublin's history, many of which have tragic endings. Stops and passing points include the Emmet and Joyce statues at St Stephen's Green, Whitefriar Street Church, St Patrick's Cathedral, Marsh's Library, Dublin Castle and Isolde's Tower. The tour also covers the connection between St Valentine and Dublin, including a church that keeps his mortal remains in a casket.
It ends in a former church, now The Church Cafe/Bar, where each guest is offered two romantic drinks for the price of one. Only small groups are taken.
Tickets cost €27 for adults and €22 for seniors and students. Children aged 12 to 18 with an accompanying adult pay €15, and children under 12 with an accompanying adult go free.
