Morcheeba: English electronic band from the mid-1990s

Morcheeba are an English electronic band that came together in the mid-1990s. The founding members were brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey, and they later brought in vocalist Skye Edwards. Their sound draws on trip hop, rock, folk rock and downtempo.

Since 1995 they have made eleven regular studio albums, two of which reached the UK top ten. Edwards left in 2003; the brothers then worked with a number of guest singers until she rejoined in 2010. Additional members are recruited for live performances, and the band has toured internationally.

Paul Godfrey distanced himself from the band in 2014. Edwards and Ross Godfrey went on to form Skye & Ross and put out a self-titled album in September 2016. The latest studio album without Paul as Morcheeba, Escape the Chaos, was released in 2025.
