Tindersticks at Vicar Street, Dublin on 9 May 2027

Tindersticks play Vicar Street in Dublin on 9 May 2027, 20:00. The act is an English alternative rock band that came together in Nottingham in 1992, then relocated to London the same year. Entry is for over 18s only, and ID is required.

The band started its own label, Tippy Toe Records, and put out its first single, "Patchwork", in November 1992. Singer Stuart Staples took the band's name from a box of German matches he found on a Greek beach. After Staples began a solo career in 2005, the group played a single concert at London's Barbican Centre in September 2006 and reunited more permanently in 2007.
