Pete Roth Trio feat. Bill Bruford in Turin, 26 February 2027

The Pete Roth Trio is a British jazz group formed in 2022, a guitar trio with guitarist Pete Roth, bassist Mike Pratt and drummer Bill Bruford, formerly of Yes and King Crimson. The group is sometimes billed as the Pete Roth Trio featuring Bill Bruford. Bill Bruford had retired from performing for 13 years before he wanted to drum again and approached Pete Roth, a German-born guitarist who had been his student and later a drum tech and road manager for Bruford's Earthworks band.

Roth suggested Mike Pratt on bass. The trio began acoustic and soon moved to electric guitar and bass. They played a live show in February 2024 and began touring in September 2024.

They tour internationally and have played dates in Europe and Japan. Sets in 2025 included "Billie's Bounce", "Summertime", and an interpretation of Dvořák's "New World Symphony".
