Titular Feast of St. Paul’s Bay

This page covers the 2026 edition. The event is held every year; dates for the next one are announced closer to the time.

Overview

St Paul's Bay marks its patron feast from 17-26 July 2026, ten days of church services, decorated streets and brass-band marches that build toward a fireworks-heavy final weekend. Expect statue processions through the old town, competing band clubs marching in full uniform, and the seafront lit up for nightly celebrations - all free and open to everyone.

The final two or three days are the ones to plan around: daytime petard salutes (loud aerial bangs, a Maltese festa signature) start mid-afternoon, followed by evening street parties and a fireworks display over the bay after dark. St Paul's Bay itself is a working seaside town with hotels, guesthouses and waterfront restaurants, so it's easy to combine the feast with a beach day - just expect narrow streets to fill up fast once the band marches start.
