Q Series: KSO Chamber Music at Elk Lodge

An evening in the Q Series puts you close to the musicians of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra, performing not as a full orchestra but as one of three small chamber ensembles. Depending on the night, the stage at Elk Lodge welcomes the KSO woodwind quintet, brass quintet, or string quartet — an intimate, conversational concert experience.

The orchestra behind the series is a distinguished ensemble, the second-oldest continuing orchestra in the Southeastern United States, and it has appeared at Washington's Kennedy Center as part of the SHIFT Festival of American Orchestras. That pedigree, combined with the close-up Elk Lodge setting, makes the Q Series a relaxed and rewarding way to hear the KSO.
