Southnord Artfest: Creative workshop for kids

Southnord Artfest: Creative workshop for kids is a hands-on workshop at Helsinki Central Library Oodi in Helsinki on 18 October 2026, 12:00. It is inspired by the children's book Kokonainen Minä (The Whole of Me). The book deals with multilingualism, identity and adventure, and encourages children to share what makes them unique. The workshop is suitable for children ages 6+. It begins with interactive readings from the book. Children then design and decorate colourful cardstock bookmarks with stickers, illustrations and multilingual words inspired by their own personal stories. The bookmarks can be taken home after the workshop. All materials are provided. Children's book author Wende Luvinga-Heinoja facilitates the workshop.
