NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet
NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet is a touring staging of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's classic ballet The Nutcracker, presented by Moscow Ballet, a Russian ballet company. The production made its American debut in 1988 and has toured the United States annually each holiday season since, typically visiting well over 100 cities across November and December using three touring companies performing simultaneously.

Acerca de NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet
The production follows Tchaikovsky's original score and the traditional Nutcracker story of a young girl's Christmas Eve journey through a fantastical world, but departs from the standard second-act setting: rather than the Land of Sweets ruled by the Sugar Plum Fairy, this staging sets the act in a "Land of Peace and Harmony," reflecting the company's stated theme of cultural unity.
Staging features hand-painted sets, a Christmas tree that grows to roughly sixty feet during the performance, and a large ensemble of classically trained dancers, including performers from Ukraine and other former Soviet states, dancing to full-length live or recorded orchestral accompaniment.
Each touring cast comprises around forty dancers, and local children from host cities are typically cast in smaller supporting roles alongside the professional company as part of the production's standard touring format.
