Teddy Swims
Teddy Swims is the stage name of Jaten Collin Dimsdale, an American singer and songwriter born September 25, 1992, in Conyers, Georgia. Raised around football, musical theater and a Pentecostal church background, he was introduced to soul music by his father through artists such as Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Al Green.

Acerca de Teddy Swims
Swims spent his teens and twenties in a succession of bands spanning hair metal, funk, metalcore and country before building an audience by posting cover songs to YouTube from 2019, which led Warner Records to sign him in January 2020. His voice blends R&B, soul, hip-hop and pop, evident on the 2021 EP Unlearning and the 2022 EP Tough Love.
His debut studio album, I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1) (2023), reached the top ten of album charts in Australia and the Netherlands. Its single "Lose Control" became a global hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 in 2024, earning multiple Billboard Music Awards and a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.
A second installment, I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2), followed in 2025. Swims has since collaborated with artists including Meghan Trainor and David Guetta and continues to record and tour internationally.
