York LesBiQueer Collective: The Circus Of Fools! 2026

You can expect circus themed games and competitions, a collection of performers and artists and a DJ to finish the evening. Start limbering up, the circus needs you! Access Information: Our private event will take place in the concert room, upon entry to the crescent you will be directed to the ticket desk which is straight ahead.

The event will be a mixture of seating and standing, seats on the edges with room for a dance floor. There is also a bar! We will be playing music throughout the event, running competitions and performances and there will be a DJ set at the end.

The Crescent has level access right to the front bar area and into the concert room. There is a small ramp at the entrance, and an accessible/gender neutral toilet immediately on your right as you enter. The toilets in the concert room will be split into stalls and urinals.

We are trans inclusive and expect that nobody will be questioned for their choice of bathroom. This is a FLINTA (female, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender) event, curated for individuals who experience patriarchal discrimination and marginalisation and who wish to express themselves in a space which does not center cis men. We expect that nobody will be questioned for their presence and will be treated with respect.

We are aware that we cannot control the behaviour of all people in the space, therefore we ask that attendees do their part to ensure that the York LesBiQueer Collective remains a safe space free from discrimination, if anyone is making you feel unsafe, let one of us or the security know. By attending our events you are agreeing to be responsible for your own behaviour and agreeing to our code of conduct. We will not tolerate dangerous, discriminatory, or disrespectful behaviour and you will be asked to leave.
