Step into an evening of myth, mystery and Mediterranean adventure as Valletta Waterfront transforms into an open-air stage for Cagliostro & The Pirate Queen – The Secret Story of Malta. Launching in summer 2026, this free weekly spectacle brings Malta's maritime legends to life every Tuesday at 7.30pm on the central Valletta Waterfront promenade. Blending theatre, music, period costume and storytelling, the 20-minute show offers a playful reimagining of Malta's maritime past. Produced by Ron Briffa, written by Sean Buhagiar, and performed by Jeremy Grech, Analise Mifsud, and Sean Briffa, the story centers on Count Alessandro Cagliostro and The Pirate Queen, a fictional heroine inspired by the corsair era. Admission is free and suitable for families, tourists, cruise passengers and locals. After the performance, enjoy your evening along the Grand Harbour with dinner, drinks or a relaxed stroll by the water.
