Trollfest at John Dee, Oslo

Trollfest, stylized as TrollfesT, is a Norwegian folk metal band. The band was formed in 2003 by John Espen Sagstad (Mr.Seidel) and Jostein Austvik (Trollmannen). Their debut album, Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest, was released in 2005, followed by Brakebein in 2006.

Trollfest's first-ever live appearance was at the 2007 Barther Metal Openair festival in Germany. In 2008 they played at the pagan metal Ragnarök Festival. In January 2022 the band were announced as an act in Melodi Grand Prix 2022 with the song "Dance Like a Pink Flamingo".

Most of Trollfest's lyrics are written in the fictional Trollspråk, a mixture of Norwegian and German, and the band is known for using saxophones and accordions. They describe their own music as Balkan metal. The event at John Dee in Oslo on 29 January 2027 has an 18-year age limit with ID requirement, and no guardian arrangement.

Identification will be checked for all attendees assumed to be under 25. Valid identification includes a physical national ID card, passport, physical driver's license, or a photo ID bank card. Digital identification or a photo of identification is not valid identification, and the photo on the ID must be easily identifiable as the user's.
