Jeanne d'Arc by the Glen Lambrecht Ballet, Brussels

Jeanne d'Arc by the Glen Lambrecht Ballet is a contemporary dance production at Cirque Royal - Koninklijk Circus in Brussels on 4 December 2026, 20:00. It is a world premiere, performed by the Glen Lambrecht Ballet, and tells the story of Jeanne d'Arc through choreography. The work opens in Rouen in 1431, with Jeanne imprisoned in her cell as she awaits her fate.

Fragments of her life resurface: her childhood in Domrémy, the appearance of the Voice that guides her, and her meeting with the Dauphin Charles, whom she persuades to entrust her with an army. The story follows her from the court of Chinon to the battles of Orléans and the coronation of Charles VII in Reims.

It then moves to her capture in Compiègne and her trial, where she must decide whether to resist, to renounce, or to remain faithful to her mission. Battles, royal ceremonies and visions of a mystical kind follow one another on stage.
