The European Orchestra in Alba

The European Union Chamber Orchestra (EUCO) performs in Alba as part of its touring schedule. Founded in 1981 and initially known as the European Community Chamber Orchestra, the ensemble has broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and produced 18 CDs.

Attendees will hear a chamber music program performed by musicians supported by the European Commission. The orchestra has collaborated with soloists including Peter Donohoe, Nikolai Demidenko, and Sheku Kanneh-Mason.

This concert presents an opportunity to experience a European ensemble that has toured internationally since its founding.
