Informazioni su Cody Johnson

Johnson formed the Cody Johnson Band in 2006 and self-released six independent albums, building a large regional following in Texas before signing with Warner Music Nashville in 2019. His sound draws on neo-traditionalist country in the vein of George Strait and Willie Nelson blended with contemporary production. His major-label debut, Ain't Nothin' to It, arrived in 2019, followed by Human: The Double Album in 2021.

His 2021 single "'Til You Can't" became his first number-one hit at country radio and won the Grammy Award for Best Country Song. Johnson's 2023 album Leather won the Country Music Association's Album of the Year, and he was named CMA Male Vocalist of the Year in 2025. His song "Dirt Cheap" earned the Academy of Country Music's Song of the Year award in 2025, ahead of his 2026 album Banks of the Trinity.
