The Wandering Hearts
The Wandering Hearts are a British folk and Americana group formed in London in 2015 when singers Tara Wilcox and Tim Prottey-Jones met at a gig they were both performing. Informazioni su The Wandering Hearts
Built around close three-part vocal harmonies, their sound blends country, folk, and pop influences, drawing frequent comparisons to Fleetwood Mac, Crosby, Stills & Nash, First Aid Kit, and the Civil Wars. Their debut album, Wild Silence (2018), topped the UK Americana chart and won the Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award at the UK Americana Awards. Their self-titled second album (2020) was recorded in Nashville with producer Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and again reached number one on the same chart. A third album, Mother, followed in 2024 on Chrysalis Records, and the band contributed a cover of "Voices" to the 2023 Nick Drake tribute album The Endless Coloured Ways.
The Wandering Hearts became the first British act to debut at both the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium in the same week, an appearance arranged at the invitation of Marty Stuart, and have performed at Graceland. They have toured extensively across the United States and played major festivals including SXSW, Latitude, Black Deer, and BST Hyde Park, and have supported artists such as Tom Petty and Jack Savoretti.
