ECM 2026: Savina Yannatou & Arcanum, Dublin, 3 November

ECM 2026: Savina Yannatou & Arcanum is a double-bill concert at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on 3 November 2026, starting at 20:00. The venue has changed from the Main Auditorium to the Studio, and all tickets remain valid. The evening pairs a Greek project with a Scandinavian one.

Savina Yannatou presents her latest project, and the other set comes from the new group Arcanum. Yannatou's ECM project Watersong is built around the theme of water. Shakespeare's play The Tempest and the spirit Ariel's song "Full Fathom Five" provided its starting point.

On Watersong she addresses music from Greek, Cypriot, Corsican, Spanish, Italian, English and Irish sources. Lamia Bedioui, a longtime collaborator of Savina Yannatou, also sings. Arcanum brings together Arve Henriksen on trumpet, Trygve Seim on saxophone, Anders Jormin on double bass and Markku Ounaskari on drums and percussion.

Watersong's group includes Kostas Vomvolos on kanonaki (quanun) and accordion, Harris Lambrakis on nay, Kyriakos Gouventas on violin, Michalis Siganidis on double bass and Dine Doneff on percussion. Arcanum's first album as a quartet is its debut together.

The concert belongs to a series presented by NCH as part of the Cultural Programme for Ireland's 2026 Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Tickets cost €15.00, with a 10% discount for Friends of NCH and groups of 10 or more.
