The Lost Children of Tuam at Draiocht Blanchardstown, 4 November

The Lost Children of Tuam is a film screening at Draiocht Blanchardstown in Dublin on 4 November 2026, starting at 19:30 in the Main Auditorium. Cinema Draíocht presents it in association with Access Cinema. The film tells a true story: while researching the Bon Secours Mother and Baby Home in Tuam, County Galway, for a local historical society, history enthusiast Catherine Corless uncovered the possibility that as many as 796 children had been buried in unmarked graves on the property.

The discovery began a campaign for justice for victims and survivors of the home. Frank Berry directed the film, and Rebecca Lenkiewicz wrote it, based on a New York Times article by Dan Barry. Monica Dolan stars, with Andrew Bennett and Ian McElhinney co-starring.

The film is in English with open captions. Tickets cost €7.50, or €6 concessions.
