The Stylistics at Southend Cliffs Pavilion, 22 November 2026

The Stylistics play Southend Cliffs Pavilion in Southend-on-Sea on 22 November 2026, 19:00. They are an American Philadelphia soul act that had their greatest chart success in the 1970s. They formed in 1968.

All of their U.S. hits were ballads shaped by the falsetto of Russell Thompkins Jr. and the production of Thom Bell. Their U.S.

hits include "You Make Me Feel Brand New", which held at No. 2 for two weeks in 1974. As their U.S.

success waned, their popularity in Europe, and especially the United Kingdom, grew, and "Can't Give You Anything (But My Love)" reached No. 1 in the U.K. in 1975.
