Und Tschüss! - Im Rahmen des NO LIMITS Festivals in Berlin

The organiser is Theater Thikwa e.V., Fidicinstraße 3, 10965 Berlin, Deutschland. Theater Thikwa and the performance collective Turbo Pascal explore fantasies of fleeing and staying in times of global crises. Performers and audience members invent their own emigration stories, which may succeed or fail, and compare their legal, financial and physical possibilities.

Between reality TV, greenscreen trips and real barriers, an interactive performance about leaving takes shape, and about the question of what a solidary staying could look like. Theater Thikwa was founded in 1990 and is based in Berlin Kreuzberg. People with and without disabilities work together there to create art and theatre.

The theatre's productions span the genres of acting, music, language and dance. Since 2006 Theater Thikwa has presented its productions at a venue it shares with the English Theatre Berlin. The ensemble also tours as part of various guest performances, which have taken it to German events such as the Heidelberger Stückemarkt and to Seoul.
