Amble
Amble are an Irish folk band formed in 2022 by Robbie Cunningham and Oisín McCaffrey, originally as a duo playing cover songs in pubs. Ross McNerney, a mandolin and banjo player, joined soon after to complete the trio. All three left earlier careers, including as educators and a data scientist, to pursue music full-time, and signed to Warner Records by 2024.

About Amble
The band blends traditional Irish instrumentation and melody with contemporary indie-folk songwriting. Their early releases, the EPs Of Land and Sea (2024) and The Commons (2024), were followed by the single "Lonely Island," which reached number nine in Ireland. Their debut studio album, Reverie, topped the Irish charts and reached number 48 in the UK in 2025; a live album, Live from Dublin, followed the same year.
Amble built an audience rapidly, surpassing 200,000 monthly Spotify listeners and nearing ten million total streams within a few years of forming. They opened for Hozier on his Unreal Unearth tour in 2025 and for Ed Sheeran on the North American leg of his Loop Tour in 2026, with further singles including "Schoolyard Days" (2025) and "The Swell" (2026) continuing to chart in Ireland.
