About Razorlight
The band's debut, Up All Night (2004), reached number 3 on the UK Albums Chart, while its 2006 self-titled follow-up went to number 1 and produced the UK number-one single "America." Later releases include Slipway Fires (2008), the comeback album Olympus Sleeping (2018) and Planet Nowhere (2024).
Razorlight won NME's Best New Band award in 2005 and received BRIT Award nominations for Best British Band and Best Song in 2007. The group is associated with the mid-2000s British indie rock and post-punk revival scene, built around guitar-driven, hook-heavy songwriting.
