Sebastian Lowe, known professionally as Seb Lowe, is an English singer-songwriter born July 9, 2003, in Saddleworth, Greater Manchester. He took up guitar in his early teens and began writing songs during the Covid-19 pandemic, initially sharing videos of his material on TikTok, which helped build an early audience.
His music combines folk-punk, indie rock, and alternative folk, often built around socially and politically engaged lyrics. Cited influences include Sinead O'Connor, Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, Eminem, and David Bowie, a mix reflected in the range of his songwriting.
Lowe's early releases include the mini-albums Half-decent (2021) and The Other Half (2022), followed by EPs such as I Fell In Love With A Talking Head (2023) and Make Me Your National Anthem (2024). He performed on the Left Field Stage at Glastonbury Festival, curated by Billy Bragg, and later supported established acts including Blossoms, Richard Ashcroft, and Paul Weller, as well as headlining his own sold-out show at Manchester's New Century Hall.
