Prague Old Town Square Christmas Market 2026

Vánoční trhy Staroměstské náměstí take place on Staroměstské náměstí in Prague. The event is held open air. Visitors can expect dozens of stalls with traditional Czech products, a wide range of food specialities and a daily cultural programme with music and folklore.

A festively illuminated Christmas tree is part of the event. The stalls offer mainly Christmas goods and handmade products, including glass and straw decorations, decorations made of ceramics, wood, shustí, beads, dried fruits and spices. Ceramic and wooden nativity scenes, bobbin lace doilies, crocheted toys, bells and small bells, cookie moulds and cutters, and wooden rolling pins are also available.

The markets are organised by the company Taiko. The markets traditionally support Czech producers and craftsmen.
