Alte Liebe. Von Elke Heidenreich, Stalburg Theater Frankfurt

Alte Liebe. Von Elke Heidenreich is a theatre production at Stalburg Theater in Frankfurt on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at 20:00. Tickets start at EUR 29, and a discount is available.

The cast is Katja Hufgard and Detlev Nyga, and Rainer Ewerrien directs. The play follows Lore and Harry, who have been married for more than 30 years. Lore is busy in the literary world, while Harry, a retired Baurat, enjoys an occasional Weizenbier and tends the delphiniums in his garden.

Then their daughter Gloria marries for the third time, and the two are drawn together again. Elke Heidenreich wrote the novel Alte Liebe together with Bernd Schroeder, to whom she was married for a good while. Elke Heidenreich then developed the novel into a stage play, which is performed in Frankfurt for the first time with this production.

Stalburg Theater was founded in 1998 and focuses on theatre performances. Its own productions make up almost 80 percent of the programme.
